Tablet preview does not work

LiveWedge has a function called “Tablet preview”. It enables you to see input videos on your tablet.

There may be cases when you cannot not use tablet preview.
Please follow the guide below when a similar problem happens.

<Point 1>
Make sure you have the latest firmware.

If you do not have the latest firmware, please try updating and then check if the problem is resolved.

<Point 2>
Make sure live streaming and SD card recording are not being used.

Live streaming, recording and tablet preview are exclusive functions and more than 1 cannot be used at the same time.

“Can not preview now” is shown on the app when LiveWedge uses live streaming or recording functions.

<Point 3>
Make sure the same resolution is set for PROGRAM OUT and PREVIEW OUT.

Tablet preview is only available when the same resolution is set for both HDMI outputs.

<Point 4>
Make sure “Enable preview on tablet” is checked.

You can enable preview on tablet” following the steps below

1.Start the LiveWedge app.

4. Tap the checkbox.

<Point 5>
Make sure video is not HDCP encoded.

LiveWedge does not support HDCP. LiveWedge will not work correctly if input video is HDCP encoded.

<Point 6>
Please try to reboot the LiveWedge and tablet app, then check if the problem is resolved.

  • Tablet preview does not work.
